Ok my friends
Here is a question I would like to pose to ALL of you Horror Movie Fans here in our little slice O tribe!
So tell me/us

What do YOU think would comprise the Perfect/Ultimate Horror Movie?
If you could make that Movie? What would it entail?
Would you make a Movie about Zombies? Werewolves? Vampires? Demons from another Dimension/Level of Hell? Horrific Ghosts/Poltergeists? Or would it be a rockin' kick ass Monster created in a Lab/Experiement gone awry situation? Or would it involved Alien Beings from another world or dimention? Or would it be a Psychological Scary Killer on the loose sorta thing?
Would you make in balls to walls Bloody Gorey? Or would the violence happen off screen and left to the audiences imagination?

Yes, there are certain genres that may seem to be over done?
But with some imagination and some "reinvention" anything is possible of late...it seems like with the upcoming re-imagining of the Friday The 13th Movie, Nightmare on Elm Street and the recent re-makes of "The Hills Have Eyes..." movies...we are all in for a bumpy and eventful ride!! :)

i loved 'the lost boys', and this is because it had vampires, and it was funky, and had a terrific soundtrack and location. it had humorus relief, but it had good scary parts. and great costumes! i love vampire movies the best.

I've been kickin' 'round this idea for the ultimate horror flick for some time. This could be property for any would be producer to develop.

    Title: Sweets for Fredric

The movie could be sched for about an hour and forty five or less.
Anthology flick in the vein of Tales from the Crypt . The major prob would be getting the rights for the all the proposed stories.

Stories to be taken from post code horror comics. By post code, I mean the Warren horror comics of the mid sixties onward, to everything that has followed. The stories I've selected have a common theme: Kids and kittens. The credits could roll over gray scale stills of the Kefauver Hearings of the fifties. Over a closeup still of Fredric Wortham the title of the flick should be shown: SWEETS FOR FREDRIC. (in real creepy fonts.)

(from TABOO- ) intro with Cardinal Sin ( recreate the cover to Taboo 1,) by Stephen Bissenette. fade to
Eye of the Cat, by Alexandro Jodorowsky and Moebius segue to
The Kitty Killer Kids, by S. Clay Wilson. Segue to

(from TWISTED TALES-) Trick or Treat, by Bruce Jones and Conrad Segue to
(from EERIE-) Changeling, by Archie Goodwin and Gene Colan segue to
(from CREEPY-) No Fair, by Bill Parente and Tom Sutton segue to
(from EERIE-) Nightfall, by Bill Dubay and Berni Wrightson and finally:
(from TABOO-) All She Does is Eat. by Jack Butterworth and Greg Capullo

Read these tales and you'll see why they'd make for some original, sick, and yes- SCARY shit for the screen.
