One of my top fav writers and director. His movie plots seem to deal a lot with the

supernatural and testing of ones faith and belief system. I've loved everything this guy has

touched so far. Really excited to see his new movie The Happening in June. youtube.com/watch Any other fans out there of his work?

    Hmmmmmmm.....

    M Night

Ya know I really haved like most of his stuff....everyone I know (myself included) liked 6th Sense a lot
I enjoyed "Unbreakable" and think it was underappreciated and the same with "The Village"
I still to this day have yet to watch "Signs" all the way through...for some reason I have NEVER been able to watch it from beginning to end, I keep getting interrupted or I am really busy with stuff.
I did feel however that the movie "Lady In The Water"? Was truely aweful! I just for the life of me could not get into this movie at all....I dunno maybe I need to rewatch it?
So....yeah....I am somewhat looking forward to his newest movie coming out this summer....I am really hoping that M Night revives his career and doesn't fall by the way side like some of the better known and former great Horror/Suspense/Mystery Movie Directors have in the past.

I'm with you Arcangel ... loved the 6th sense, enjoyed unbreakable and the village. I did think, however, that Lady in the Water was interesting, but I don't care for Signs.

Much like my view on SK movies, I am cautiously optimistic that The Happening will be a good one.

I won't put rumoured spoils, but it sounds interesting from what I have garnered. I wish him well on this new venture.

Being rated "R" is a very good sign.

Like everyone I liked sixth sense, but I almost fell asleep when I watched The Village. I didn't like Unbreakable but I do like Signs (first movie I saw with my girl, so the first time I didn't really watched it :)) I miss The Happenning in theater but I sure want to watch it.
For the case of Lady in the water I don't know why but I'm just not interested but maybe I'm missing something good, I don't know.

I am not sure why there is little to no oversight in what he does, but he has put out enough trash at this point to end up forgotten very soon.

Zero offense... I just thought the happening was the crumby drizzle on a short career of awful pie.

Okay, I saw the "The Happening" and had some mixed feelings about it. I love the whole concept, but I don't think Mark Wahlberg is a good main actor. He's a wonderful supporting actor in other films, but I felt like he was kind weak in this one.

That's the story you are talking about.

If the story is so weak that you have actors looking blank eyed the whole time....

            story, not actors.

I liked most of his stuff... but "The village" I thought was dumb.. it grabbed me in the begining, but lost me pretty quickly thereafter. I felt the ending lacked creativity. "Lady in the water" was awful.

              The sixth sense
              Signs
              The happening

              all good flicks, IMO

I liked Sixth Sense & Unbreakable. I also like how Robot Chicken had some fun with him too! :D
